busy busy Tuesday, Jan 24 2012

well it’s been a busy busy season for me…been workin, shooting everyone’s holiday pictures and the finding time to edit is driving me insane…
wish there was another one of me or two more just so i can find the time to do everything i need to accomplish lol…i guess that’s what i get for having so many interests!

Thanksgiving was a good one, spent it with my bf in our first Thanksgiving in our new apartment! I cooked all day, made a million pies it feels like lol spent some time with my mom and sisters which was good…then came home to “Rest” but didn’t because we went to Wal-Mart for black friday at 5pm!!!

man it was a long night let me tell you! we took one of my sisters, she has never been to black friday so she was SHOCKED to say the least of how crazy people can be! so we had her wait in line for the 40″ tv for us so she won’t get trampled! luckly there were some nice people in front of her who took really great care of her…it’s amazing how some people can renew your faith in the goodness of the human nature…they kept asking her if she was ok, if she was hungry, thristy…i still don’t even know the names of these people but all i know is they are awesome and i know/hope they get nothing but great things in their life for how they treated my little sister…not only that i wanted to get a sewing machine and was afraid becuase of the limited qty they would run out…so someone from their group got me one just in case i was too late! how awesome is that! again these people were awesome to us!

we made out like bandits that night we knew we wanted to go all out becuase we’ve always wanted to but never had the chance or finances to…so i got a loan i told myself we weren’t going to and we tried to save both our checks for black friday but things fell outa place and we needed the money…the loan people are real nice tho which is great and the pmts aren’t bad either

anywho it’s been a busy few weeks i took pics of my friends son he’s 4 months old i believe, he’s such a cutie pie i’ll be posting pics of him when i get them all done…i’m almost finished with those and have 4 more shoots to do and edit…..

ugh told you i have a lot on my plate! lol anyone know a clone company?! i need it ASAP!

M.I.A. for a long time! Friday, Nov 11 2011

Wow didn’t even realize it’s been so long since i last posted almost 9 months!

A LOT HAS HAPPENED!  let’s see what’s been going on…

• work has been super busy that’s what’s been taking up a huge chunk of my time and life right now…gotta make that money right!?
• We moved and somewhat settled in, I’ve been so busy i haven’t had time to unpack everything…we barely got our second bedroom straightened out to where we can walk in it!
• next we are going to tackle our master bedroom :S dun dun dun…in my head there are screams of organizing people being tortured
• I turned 25 last month! (OCT. 15th!)..HAD MY FIRST BIRTHDAY PARTY IN MY LIFE! IT WAS GREAT DRANK (WAYY TOOO MUCH!), MY MOM EVEN HUNG IN THERE AND HAD A BLAST (SHE DOESN’T BELIEVE IN DRINKING AND DOESN’T LIKE TO BE AROUND IT…WAS SURPRISED SHE STAYED WITH US TILL 3 AM!)..ANYWAY IT WAS EVEN BETTER THAN I COULD HAVE EVER ASKED FOR!
  wow alot has changed in the past year…I found a great job where i get paid well, my photography biz has taken off so much so i’ve finding it hard to find time to edit between work and my other hobbies, i picked up a few more hobbies as well…
• I recently was found by my half-sister on Facebook! it was sooo nice to get to know her finally, i’ve been wondering how she has been and what she was up to…now we can stay in touch all the time!
• I joined a great site for crafters so I can have something to keep my sane after long work weeks lol!
• We have been tryin to get our tactical/survival gear together we have some pretty awesome additions…i might post some pics if anyone’s interested! let me know
• my mom had to have another surgery on her arm this past monday…so she’s in pain, can’t do much, and that hurts to see such a strong person who doesn’t like asking for help, begging for it…hope she gets better soon i don’t like seeing her hurt
• Things with Mr. Tony (my bf) are going good we’ve been talking about getting married and cool ideas we’d want to have in it, kinda funny cause he’s been getting my best guy friend (adopted brother) in on the planning(…imagine two guys talkin over beer, bbq and welding about a wedding… it’s pretty funny! they even leave me out sometimes! that’s a funny switch usually it’s the girl doing all that )
• We’ve been tryin new recipes and trying to come up with a whole new take on comfort food we’ve grown up with…we’re in the process of writing them all down and taking pics to put in a scrapbook type deal for our future kids…i think it’ll be a nice gift
• most recently (Wednesday night actually) i hurt my toe the nail got pulled almost all the way off…now it’s hurting like the devil is prying my foot open lol! hope it gets better before Turkey day!
• So excited for Turkey day! we love throwing it down and going crazy with our meal, it’s a blast!
• even more excited for the Black Friday sales! This year we’re saving both of our paychecks and going all out…we’ve talked about doing that but never had a chance!…this year is our year! we need a new tv badly (among other things!! ).
• At the moment i’m waiting for my epoxy resin jewelry pieces for my online craft swap to dry so i can take pics…i’ll probably post them here as well!

hummm can’t think of anything else to share…mainly tryin to see if i can get this blog under control, post more and organize it!

MOVING!!!!!! Thursday, Feb 24 2011

YES WE’RE MOVING. WE FOUND AN AMAZING PLACE RUN BY SOME AMAZING PEOPLE..IT’S BEEN A HARSH MONTH AND A HALF WHERE WE’RE AT NOW AND WE’RE SO EXCITED TO LEAVE ALL THE DRAMA BEHIND AND START OUT NEW LIFE IN A NEW APARTMENT, AND GET THIS…WITH ACTUAL WORKING HEATER/AC AND PLUMBING! WOW..LOL IF YOU KNEW WHAT WE’VE BEEN THROUGH YOU WOULD BE LIKE OMG HAPPY FOR US (ESPECIALLY SINCE OUR LANDLORD MADE US LIFE WITHOUT WATER FOR A WEEK! LET’S JUST SAY THAT WAS HELL AND GAS STATION BATHROOM WERE OUR BEST FRIENDS!)…BUT YEA WE GOT THE KEYS TODAY AND SIGNED THE LEASE AND IT’S OFFICIALLY OURS!

WELL ANYWAY I MIGHT BE OFFLINE FOR A BIT I JUST WANTED TO SAY BYE FOR NOW!…I MIGHT EVEN START POSTING ON MY YOUTUBE ACCOUNT..IT’LL BE MY FIRST POST LIKE IN MY WHOLE LIFE…SOOOO YEA IF UR THE TYPE THAT LIKES TO SEE INTO PEOPLES LIVES CHECK MINE OUT! IT’S….YOU GUESSED IT! ChevelleZombie! I’M REALLY WANTING TO POST SOMETHING SOON BECAUSE I HAVE COME UP WITH A REALLLLLY EFFICIENT WAY TO PACK AND MOVE THAT WILL SAVE TONS OF TIME, SPACE, AND SANITY…SO LOOK FOR IT SOON!

HOPE YOUR WORK WEEK IS COMING TO A GOOD END…I HAVE A DEADLINE AT WORK TOMORROW SO I WILL BE AT WORK ALL DAY, THEN COME HOME PACK AND WE MOVE IN SATURDAY, WE HAVE TO BE COMPLETELY OUT OF HERE BY THE 2ND OF NEXT WEEK!
WE’RE ALREADY ALMOST DONE THANKS TO MY AMAZING BF WHO HAS RISKED HIS SLEEP AND SANITY ON WORKING ON THE APARTMENT WHILE I’VE BEEN AT WORK EVEN WHEN HE GETS OFF WORK AT 7 AM…HE’S ASLEEP NOW POOR THING…I LOVE HIM FOR ALL HE HAS DONE TO HELP

SO YEA…WE SHALL SEE WHAT GOES ON SOON…I’LL KEEP YA POSTED THROUGH MY PHONE IF I’M NOT TOO BUSY!

Best Valentines Day EVER! Wednesday, Feb 16 2011

My man is soooo freaking amazing!..ok so i thought he didn’t get me anything and after shopping he says u need to stay in the car for a bit so i did..then he put his hand over my face and lead me to the kitchen and showed me what he was up to all day long..after he got off work at 7 am he didn’t sleep a wink he made me the greatest gifts imaginable!..(check out the pics below, their just from my cell phone but i’ll post the one’s from my DSLR later this weekend when i have the time…since work has been hectic! )

i love him to death,  this has been the best best best valentines day EVER!!!!!

long week Friday, Feb 11 2011

So this week has been a crazy one….last week it snowed pretty bad(mind you we’re in the desert so its a huge shock to us! Lol) anyway most of the snow melted, but I happen to unfortunately find the one patch of ice left in all of Roswell lol..it was at my work, I was walking to the front door like I always do ready to start a new day and bam! I Fell not only just slipped and oops on the ground…I did the splits! HARD! I ended up bruising my whole leg from toes to hip and..wound up with a realllly bad sprain! I’ve already missed 3 half work days and 2 full…..so I’m bummed about my check coming up…..

Needless to say I’m not lookin forward to ANY snow for atleast a couple years

So i’ve always tried to make meatloaf better, mainly cause i’m tired of hearing people say how gross meatloaf is and how no one will eat it…well…..this one is not the case…this one is so good i promise it will be all eaten up…if you don’t believe me try it for yourself and let me know how you and everyone you serve it to likes it!

mix well and place into cooking pan!

The dawn of a New Year Friday, Dec 31 2010

What’s your new years resolution?!-mine is to keep living my life for me and i’m so lucky i have an amazing man beside me who supports my dreams … *thank you Antonio for being the best thing that has ever happen to me!*

That and try to get fitter than i have ever been, this year i’m going to PUSH myself harder and harder…i’m not going to be one of those lazy fat kids who gets surgery instead of workin hard for the body and soul they want, i’m going to re-build myself for who i want to be for the rest of my life…I have already lost 20 lbs without even trying, so i’m going to apply myself!

I’m going to start back up on my art, i miss it and i miss not having too much time for it…so i will make time to create
I’m going to set a goal of 10 new things i’m going to try to do this year that i have never done before…

i’m going to take more risks, not matter the concequences!…

xmas eve! Friday, Dec 24 2010

so it’s xmas eve…even tho i had the day off with holiday pay… i and a co-worker had some stuff we needed to do so we went to work and did work! lol spent 5 hrs there with extra pay aside from holiday so that’s good

This weekends plans are opening presents, making tamales and spending time with my favorite person in the world…my baby! we’re both off and just get to chill…going to be awesome…for those of you who want to know how to make tamales i’ll take pics and post recipes on here!

Office Xmas Party & Anniversary Sunday, Dec 19 2010

So this week was yet another crazy weeks…we had our office xmas party which was so fun! I’m so glad i get to work with such fun loving, amazing and genuinely nice people …i hope i get to work there basically the rest of my life, that’s how great it is!

Today is also my bf &I’s 3 year anniversary…I love him so much and he’s the greatest thing to ever have happened to me…he pulled me out of the horrible rut I was in and gave me a new exciting perspective on life…I’m greatful for every second i get to spend with him…

so our plan today is just to simply be together…we’re going xmas shopping for each others gifts…bbq’in together…taking pics cause we haven’t done that in FOREVER! lol

and just simply enjoy each others company…like we have been doing for the past 3 years …and i enjoy every second, of every minute, of everyday, of every year with him:D

WEEKEND! Saturday, Dec 11 2010

so it’s been a LONG week at work, tense and the works…i always look forward to the weekend so i can spend time with the best guy in the world…Tony

We sleep in (mainly cause he works nights and got off at 7 this morning and i like my SLEEP! lol)…our weekends are usually our cooking weekends…where we pull out all the stops make and amazing meal and sit there and run our tummys
occasionally we invite my little sisters over, we’ll see if they’re good today

Today’s plan is bacon, potatoes in tomato sauce with white rice!

Tomorrow’s plan is GRILLIN in the cold!
